What is Ad Spend and How Does it Work?

Ad spend is the money that goes direct to the ad network. It's what you pay them to show your ads to people and the more effective your ads are, the more people will click on them.

Ad spend is pay as you go so if you're starting with $40 per day, then the card you have on file with the ad network will charge you every-time you reach a spending limit. This limit usually starts low, around $20 and will go up over time to $500.

How Much Should I Expect to Pay Per Lead?

The cost per lead (once the campaigns completes the automated 2 - 5 day learning phase) should be between $20 and $40/lead. But keep in mind, you don't pay per lead, you pay the network for how many people actually see the ad, so the more effective the ads, the lower the cost per lead will be.

How Much Ad Spend Should I Budget for?

I recommend doing the math backwards. If your goal is to get an additional deal per week from your online leads (on top of what you're doing currently so you can ease into it) then you would need about 4 appointments per week if you're being conservative.

To get 4 appointments, you would need about 16 leads, again if you're being conservative. If your average cost per lead is $30, then your budget would be $480/week. Imagine that, paying $480 per sale. I'm not sure how much you make per sale but let's say it's $4000. That's not a bad return.

Will I Need Any Additional or Supporting Software?
